CS: The 2nd Mission: Ep. 1-1

----Quote’s First Words----

“HUZZAH! Hey guys, wake up! I think I’ve found the perfect spot…”

Quote slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He was still sitting (or in this case, laying) on top of Balrog, his new best friend. He looked around and saw Curly Brace, who was waking up herself. She was mumbling something. As she looked around, her eyes widened and said,

“Wow, you’re right! This place is perfect…!”

Quote picked up his head and looked around. He looked down to see that they were flying over a shoreline, which was near a large forest area. The sand sparkled as the afternoon sun shined on it, and it made them all squint. Quote smiled. He too agreed that it was a great spot…

“And that’s not the best part. Turn around…!”  As he said it, Curly and Quote turned around, and they grew wide eyes. Right behind them, they could just barely see the top of the flying island, the same one they were in a few days ago.

Curly grew a big smile and said, “Heh. That’s definitely that best.”

With that said, they started to descend to the warm sand. As they stepped off, they looked all around and went to see what this place had to offer. The beach part seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. The forest has large trees that grew as tall as ever. As they looked around, Balrog said, “Oh yeah. I almost forgot…”

With that said, he put out his arm and showed them their weapons. They were still pretty confused why they still had them (after all, they didn’t expect any trouble around HERE…), but they both smirked and took them. Curly took her Machine Gun and strapped it on her back, while Quote took his trusty Spur and the Blade, which was given to him by an old friend…

“Come on, Balrog. You really think we need these…?”

He shrugged, “I suppose it wouldn’t hurt. Considering your track records, I’d say you’d find SOME trouble lurking somewhere…” They both laughed and went around exploring some more. As they walked along, Curly would ask Quote a few questions, but all she would get was a few nods and shrugs. That made her wonder…

Why can’t Quote talk…?
