“Alright everyone, that’s enough for today!”
Just as Nabi was going to shoot that ball, he relaxed and dropped the ball. “It’s about time…” he thought. “We’ve been going at this for about a few hours now. I didn’t even get a chance to tell Doki that I was going to be late.” Nabi passed the ball to the coach, and everyone went into the locker room. As everyone else took their time under the cool shower, Nabi quickly got cleaned and went out. He looked at his watch and went out of the gym.
Nabi went out into the lobby and found Doki sitting on a bench. She didn’t seem to notice him as he saw her, but as he got closer, she looked up and smiled. Nabi sighed, went over to her and started to say, “Look, I’m sorry. It went longer than I thought….” Doki chuckled and said, “It’s alright…” Nabi shook his head and said, “No, it’s not. I should’ve told you first. You’ve probably been sitting here for a few hours now…”
As they both walked out, Doki smiled and blushed. No matter how much she tried to convince Nabi that she didn’t have a problem with something like this, she could never convince him. But, that’s what she liked about him. He cared for her…
“It really isn’t a problem Nabi…” she wrapped her arm around him and said, “The only problem is that I couldn’t spend that time with you.” Nabi smirked. That was something he loved about her. She was so close to him. A few years ago, he was nervous around her, and could only think about his reputation. But now, her attraction to him just made him love her more.
And that made Brandon angrier at him…
As Doki and Nabi walked through the streets, Brandon and Jessica were following them a few feet behind them. They could hear them talking to each other, but they could only make out a few parts of the conversation. Luckily, they heard the most important parts.
“Seems as though Nabi gets tired when he plays sports too much…” Jessica said playfully.
Brandon smiled. “And that’s exactly what we need…” he thought. As he and Jessica followed Doki and Nabi, he also had to admit that he was enjoying spending more time with Jessica. The more time he spent with her, the more he liked her. And he could tell that she felt the same way. But now that they knew more, they could go onto the next part of their plan…

I saw more repetiveness in this one than I have in a long time. "Just as Nabi was going to shoot that BALL, he relaxed and dropped the BALL.", "No matter how much she tried to CONVINCE Nabi that she didn’t have a problem with something like this, she could never CONVINCE him." and "As Doki and Nabi walked through the streets, Brandon and Jessica were following THEM a few feet behind THEM." I personally think that repetiveness is a big deal and story breaker. But a quick trip to a thesaurus, and you'll be good to go!
